We at Ballade Sports have always loved the OEM or Mugen style of seat rails. The one handle lift up activation of the slider has always kept the ergonomic feel. Mugen made these type of seat rails off the OEM Honda slider back in the early to mid 2000s.

For awhile we would take apart OEM S2000 seat rails and modify them to match the same side mount profile as the Mugen rail. Obviously we did this to be able to mount racing bucket seats that have side mount bolting points. This was a very labor intensive task. Fast forward to day, after 2 years of development we are now able to mass produce this popular style seat rail.

We sacrificed our own genuine Mugen rails to manufacture a reproduction of the originals we now call Ballade Sports S2000 Type M Right Handle Seat Rail.

S2000 Type M Right Handle Seat Rail is purely based on the Mugen rail, so the same limitations Mugen had, we also have.

However, that has not stopped many of us fitting them with other style side mount seats like Recaro, Bride, Sparco etc. It’s not difficult, butall in spacers are used. The size spacers will vary based on the width of the seat.

Mugen provided Aluminum 15mm spacers with their rails. We provide the same.

The side mount brackets are 6061 red anodized aluminum, recreating the Mugen design.

We made every effort to recreate the original again. We even made the old school Honda wire cable with 2 small washers to connect the rail activation.

Here is the BEST NEWS. We are able to convert your US Ap2 Passenger side 06-09 weight sensor seats to receive this side mount rail. Before it was really expensive for us to buy used seats rails w/ sensors and hand make the side mount rails.

No need to purchase new weight sensors.Your vehicles originalweight sensorscan be reused. Unboltbolt with a tamper proof T27 Torx bit. We have it set up to simply bolt our Type M seat rails directly to the weight sensors.
