Upgraded Air Dam

The first step in the air induction process is the air dam. Upgraded air dams effectively insulate against hot air from the engine compartment. The result is cooler, denser air entering the filter, providing a more potent air charge.

High-Flow Air Filter Media

The second step involves the air filter media. Roush Performance meticulously selects the media to ensure improved airflow while still effectively filtering out dirt from the engine.

Optimized Induction Tube

Once the air passes through the filter, it goes through the induction tube. Each of Roush’s Mustang cold air intake kits features induction tubes designed to optimize airflow while maintaining insulation against hot engine bay air.
